Major.Minor.Patch.Patch
Our Version System consist of three different numbers.
The Major Version. This Number will be changed when there are big changes. For example when the Project gets a licence and login System.
The Minor Version. During the development of a Major Version is necessary to create Milestones and to structure the Project.
(Patch) The Bug or feature Indicator is a number which will be incremented for each new feature, bug and Pull Request.
(Patch) An additional fourth number can be added when a Version gets a Long Term Support.
It is only allowed to add a fourth number when there is a newer Minor or Major Version in the current Release_Channel. For example V1.1.31 to V1.2.0
A fourth number must be used as the third Version Number.
Therefore, the fourth number must be incremented by each new feature, bug or Pull_Request.
The Version Numbers before have to be constant during an LTS-Support cycle.
Note: None of the numbers provide any information about whether the Version is compatible with another Version.
